Please include your device model, OS version, Stillwrite version, and steps to reproduce an issue. You do not need to send your journal or personal photos. Remove private information from screenshots before sharing them.

Reflections are unavailable

AI features require an Apple Intelligence-compatible device with Apple Intelligence enabled and the necessary model ready. Language, region, and system availability may affect access. Check Reflections in Settings. You can still write and save entries when AI is unavailable.

Where is my journal stored?

Your journal is stored on your device. Stillwrite has no app account or its own cloud sync. System backups depend on your device settings. We cannot recover a journal from a developer server.

How do I export entries?

Open Settings from Journal and choose Export entries. Choose Markdown, JSON, or Plain text. Markdown exports with photos use a ZIP archive; JSON includes photo data. Plain text does not include photos. The app currently has no feature for importing exported files back into the journal.

How do I delete an entry?

Use Delete Entry in the entry detail or the journal list's delete action. Exported files and previous backups must be managed separately. Local migration copies may remain; see the privacy policy for retention details.

Can I change reminders and text visibility?

Settings includes Daily reminder, Show entry text in Spotlight, and Show entry text in widgets. Summaries or moods may still appear when entry text is hidden. Notification permissions can also be changed in system settings.

Does Stillwrite support iPhone Duo and iPad?

The app supports iPhone and iPad. iPhone Duo layouts adapt to folding and available space on iOS 27.1 or later. See the App Store compatibility section for requirements.
